"The authorities are already conducting an investigation. The Ministry will also conduct an internal investigation process to examine compliance with each relevant SOP," she said in a statement on Saturday (April 18), reported Sinar Harian.

According to reports, the Pahang Education Department confirmed that a student went missing during an outing several others at Balok Beach, Pahang on Friday (April 17) evening.

The students had allegedly left the dormitory without the school's knowledge and the outing was not an official program organised by the school.
