PM Anwar on one-day working visit to Terengganu


KUALA TERENGGANU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will undertake a one-day working visit to the state on Monday (April 13).

He will begin by attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the Matriculation College in Bukit Payong, near Marang, at 11am.

Anwar is then scheduled to attend a Madani meet-and-greet with state tahfiz students at 1.45pm at Sekolah Menengah Imtiyaz Yayasan Terengganu.

The Prime Minister will later attend the Kuala Terengganu district development meeting at the Kuala Terengganu District and Land Office at 3.30pm.

Anwar, who is also the PKR president, is then scheduled to attend the Terengganu Keadilan Mini Convention at the Terengganu Equestrian Resort at 4.45pm.

He is expected to conclude his schedule by attending the opening ceremony of the 1447H/2026 National Quran Recitation and Memorisation Assembly.

The event will be held at the Indoor Stadium Arena Hall, State Sports Complex in Gong Badak near Kuala Nerus.

The 68th edition of the assembly will bring together 108 participants from across the country.
