SINGER Aisha Retno has much to celebrate this Hari Raya Aidilfitri with her latest single, Jodoh Lebaran, racking up over 9.4 million views on YouTube just two weeks after its release, reported Berita Harian.

The song has become one of Aidilfitri’s standout hits, echoing the success of her earlier festive track, Ketipak Ketipung Raya, and cementing the 26-year-old’s reputation as a young artiste with a knack for capturing the spirit of celebration through music.

Aisha, whose real name is Sharifah Aisha Retno Sayed Sipulijam, admits her single status played a role in inspiring the tune.

“I’m still single, that’s why I made this song. If I weren’t, Jodoh Lebaran might not exist,” she said.

While she is open to romantic relationship, the singer said she will always take a measured approach.

“If we’re both serious, we’ll see where it goes. If not, that’s fine,” she said, adding that she has no qualms dating within the entertainment industry.

Datuk Red, whose real name is Datuk Seri Adnan Abu, said this year marked one of the most difficult periods in his life, admitting he had initially chosen to keep matters to himself out of fear of confronting his emotions.

“I was afraid of my own birthday this year, so I chose to hide away.

“I didn’t expect any wishes, but when all of you came, that was more than enough to move me,” he said in a TikTok video.

“It’s not about the cake or the food. Your presence alone is enough to make me happy.”
