Man jailed two years for possessing two packets of stolen beverages


SEMPORNA: A 22-year-old man was jailed two years by the Magistrate’s Court here for possessing two packets of stolen Milo from a supermarket.

Mohd Saharudin Abd Manap pleaded guilty to the charge under Section 411 of the Penal Code for dishonestly receiving stolen property, earlier this week. 

He was accused of possessing the stolen items belonging to G-Mart Borneo supermarket at about 2.25pm on Feb 24 in Semporna.

Magistrate Don Stiwin Malanjun ordered Saharudin to serve the two-year prison sentence from the date of his arrest.
