Northbound Pedas Linggi lay-by to close for 18 months starting March 1

SEREMBAN: The Pedas Linggi Lay-by (northbound) at KM225.5 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) will be closed for 18 months from March 1 for upgrading works.

In a statement, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) said the project, expected to be completed by the end of 2027, aims to provide greater comfort for highway users and features a refreshed design with green elements.

"During the upgrading period, temporary facilities such as toilets and a surau will be provided. Highway users may also use facilities at the nearest toll plazas.

"As an alternative, northbound travellers can stop at the Ayer Keroh Overhead Restaurant, Senawang Lay-by, Seremban Rest and Service (R&R) area or other nearby R&R areas and lay-bys,” read the statement.

PLUS advised motorists to plan their journeys and follow all traffic signs and instructions when passing through the area.

Latest traffic updates are available via the PLUS app, the PUTRI Virtual Assistant, the X@plustrafik application, Variable Message Signs (VMS) at selected locations, or by calling the PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 for assistance. – Bernama
