KUALA LUMPUR: A man's request to edit his wedding photographs to include all his deceased family members has touched the hearts of social media users.

Sinar Harian reported on Thursday (Feb 5) that Abdur Rahman Amir Ruddin, 21, expressed his wish on a social media platform to have images of his deceased parents and siblings digitally inserted in his wedding photos as a keepsake.

"Can anyone help me edit all of my family members who have died into my wedding photos?

"I will frame the most realistic edited photo and put it next to my bed so that I can see my mother, father and siblings every day," he said.

On Sept 1, 2023, Abdur Rahman became an orphan after six members of his family died in an accident at KM5 along the Segamat-Kuantan route.

His other brother, Abdullah, now 17, who was also in the vehicle, was the only member of Abdur Rahman's family to survive.

Abdur Rahman had previously shared his happiness of getting married through social media in December.

His request to include his family members was granted by a netizen, who shared the edited photos.
