Dashboard tracking MA63 implementation to be launched in Parliament, says Mustapha

KOTA KINABALU: A new digital dashboard tracking the implementation of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) will be launched on Jan 28 at Parliament, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.

The dashboard will be accessible via the official portal of the Sabah and Sarawak Affairs Division (BHESS, JPM), offering a one-stop platform for updates, timelines, and progress reports following the launch, he said in a statement posted on Facebook on Monday (Jan 26).

The dashboard was an important step towards strengthening transparency and accountability in national governance, he added.

Mustapha said the MA63 Dashboard, developed under the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah & Sarawak Affairs Division), would provide Malaysians with direct access to verified information on the progress of 29 key demands outlined in the historic agreement.

Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof, is scheduled to officiate the launch of the Dashboard which underscores the government’s commitment to making MA63 a national agenda rather than one confined to Sabah and Sarawak, he said.

“This dashboard ensures that the public can monitor developments without political bias or uncertainty. It is about empowering citizens with facts,” the post said.

Invitations have been extended to all MPs and Senators, reflecting the Madani government’s emphasis on inclusivity and oversight.
