PETALING JAYA: The body of a local woman believed to be in her 70s was found floating in a rainwater retention pond at Section U11, Bukit Bandaraya, Shah Alam on Wednesday (Jan 7).

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Ramsay Embol said police received a report at about 11.30am from a member of the public who discovered the body while fishing at the pond.

“With the assistance of the Selangor police forensic team, the body was retrieved from the pond,” he said in a statement on Friday (Jan 9).
