Ex-Felda trio face multiple CBT charges


JOHOR BARU: Three former Felda employees claimed trial in the Sessions Court here to multiple charges of criminal breach of trust involving funds belonging to a deceased settler.

Mohd Khairil Hafiz Mohd Nor, 43, Mohamad Hasbullah Abdul Khodir, 38, and Ismaulridha Shalihan, 37, pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court judge Nor Aziati Jaafar.

Mohamad Hasbullah faces six charges involving proceeds from oil palm fruit sales amounting to more than RM30,000 which were allegedly not handed over to settler Mohd Zamri Sapari.

He is further charged with misappropriation of cash advances totalling RM10,186 from proceeds belonging to Mohd Zamri.

Ismaulridha is facing charges involving over RM16,000, being proceeds not handed over to Mohd Zamri.

Meanwhile, Mohd Khairil faces charges involving RM5,449.44, being proceeds belonging to Mohd Zamri.

The court set bail of RM12,000 for Mohamad Hasbullah, RM8,000 for Ismaulridha and RM7,000 for Mohd Khairil, each in one surety.

All three accused posted bail.

The court set Aug 21 for mention of the case.
