Amirudin to lead any possible talks on Pakatan-Bersatu cooperation, says Anwar

SHAH ALAM: Any discussion about possible political cooperation between Pakatan Harapan and Bersatu will be handled by Pakatan election director Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Pakatan chairman declined to elaborate when asked about the possibility of cooperation between the two sides, saying he would leave the matter to Amirudin.

Earlier, Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the party was open to discussions with any political party, including Pakatan, as it explored new political alignments.

Muhyiddin said Bersatu was prepared to negotiate with other parties to ensure its political survival, amid speculation that several other parties are seeking to forge ties with it.
