2026 focus not just on formulating policies, but on effective implementation, says PMO

PETALING JAYA: The focus for 2026 will not just be on formulating policies but also ensuring more structured implementation, faster delivery, and tangible benefits that are felt by all layers of the rakyat, says the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Prime Minister’s senior press secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said this approach demands disciplined execution, better coordination across agencies alongside emphasising efficiency at the ground level.

In line with this, he said the government will continue strengthening strategic communications as a bridge between policy and the people.

“This ensures information is delivered clearly, consistently and factually, while making it easier for the public to access available services and opportunities without confusion,” he said during the Prime Minister’s Office daily briefing on Monday (Jan 5).

On Visit Malaysia 2026, Tunku Nashrul said this initiative not only boosts tourism but also presents opportunities to spur the local economy, strengthen community ecosystems and showcase Malaysian hospitality as a premier destination in the region.

“With stronger commitment and continued support from the people, the Madani administration will continue moving forward this year and deliver meaningful results for all Malaysians through ongoing reforms and the stability of the country’s administration,” he said.
