Embrace hope and unity this Christmas, says Joseph Kurup

KOTA KINABALU: Malaysians celebrating Christmas have been urged to embrace the values of love, hope and unity as the nation marks the festive season.

Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup said the celebration is not only a religious occasion but also a reminder of universal human values that strengthen the bonds of the nation.

In his Christmas message, Kurup said that these values form the foundation of Malaysia Madani, which focuses on harmony, mutual respect and togetherness regardless of religion, race or background.

“In these challenging times, it is this spirit that will continue to strengthen our ties as one big Malaysian family,” said Kurup, who is Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) president.

The Minister expressed hope that Christmas this year will bring joy, peace and closer relationships among Malaysians, while urging people to continue working hand in hand to build a more united, prosperous and resilient Malaysia.
