East Coast under persistent rain alert until tomorrow, says MetMalaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level persistent rain warning for Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu, expected until Friday (Dec 19).

MetMalaysia director-general Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, in a statement, said that the 3pm alert covered Pahang’s Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin.

It also involves Jeli, Kuala Krai and Gua Musang (Kelantan) as well as Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman (Terengganu).
