Johor boy wins national football competition

AN eight-year-old boy from Johor has won the Under-8 category best player award in a national- level football competition, Makkal Osai reported.

Twenty teams from 10 states comprising the best players from two state-level preliminary rounds took part in the Malaysian Youth League (MYL) National 2025.

The event was organised by Zero9 Football Academy and held at RRI Football Park, Petaling Jaya.

Raman Raj from Zero9 Aca­de­my Johor clinched the best player award while his team took the championship.

Despite about 4,000 students graduating with up to 40% Indian students, the university management completely ignored this and the Higher Education Min­is­try is urged to act on the matter.
