Over 500,000 visitors throng Madani programme


PUTRAJAYA: The three-day “Rancakkan Madani Bersama Malaysiaku” programme and the National Public Service Reform Convention 2025 drew overwhelming response, attracting 502,804 visitors from Dec 5 to 7 at Dataran Putrajaya.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said the nationwide programme, organised by the Performance Acceleration and Coordination Unit in collaboration with the Public Service Department and the Malaysian Productivity Corporation, also recorded several notable achievements, Bernama reported.

“These include total Madani sales of RM2.15mil, covering Rahmah Sales, Agro Sales, the Pesta Rasa @ Selera Malaysia food festival and food trucks. The business matching initiative exceeded RM400,000,” the statement read.

The police and Road Transport Department counters collected RM98,330 and RM36,143 in fines, respectively, totalling RM134,473.

Additionally, 1,252 individuals received job offers through open interview sessions.

The closing ceremony was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, accompanied by both Deputy Prime Ministers, the full Cabinet, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, as well as senior federal and state public service leaders.

The programme featured approximately 500 activities across eight key segments: Madani People’s Products, Madani People’s Well-being, Public Serv­ice Reform Agenda, Asean Leadership, Madani People’s Brotherhood, Madani Sales, Madani Youth and Visit Malaysia 2026.
