Full BN support for formation of next Sabah govt, says Umno sec gen


KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional will give its full support to form the next Sabah state government, says Umno secretary-general Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

Asyraf also thanked the entire Barisan machinery who had worked hard throughout the Sabah state polls.

“Barisan has given its support to form the Sabah state government together,” said Asyraf in a Facebook post on Sunday (Nov 30).

Barisan won six out of the 45 seats it contested. Warisan won 25 seats.

Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) won 29 (Gagasan Rakyat -23 and PBS-6) of the 55 seats it contested, while its electoral partner Pakatan-PKR won one of the 12 seats they contested in the just concluded state election.
