EPF temporarily closes Kangar office due to floods


PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund temporarily closed its Kangar office due to rising floodwaters.

The EPF said the move is necessary to ensure the safety and wellbeing of members and staff.

“The EPF is working with local authorities and service providers to monitor the situation,” it said on Wednesday (Nov 26).

It said status updates will be provided as soon as possible.

Members with existing appointments are advised to reschedule.

The EPF said urgent transactions can still be done online via i-Akaun for selected services.
