SUBANG JAYA: Avaland recently hosted the Cybersouth Community Run at the Cybersouth masterplan trail, drawing over 2,000 enthusiastic participants from across the Klang Valley.

The event featured both 5km and 10km categories, offering an exciting day of fitness, fun and togetherness while celebrating the spirit of healthy living and community engagement.

The Cybersouth Community Run not only promoted physical fitness but also strengthened community bonds, reflecting Avaland’s commitment to fostering holistic living within its townships.

The event concluded with lively celebrations at The Island and Avaland Show Village at Cybersouth, marking a memorable day of wellness and joy for all participants.

In the weeks leading up to the run, Avaland also organised a series of community fitness engagements, including Zumba sessions, wellness workshops and complimentary health-screening, to help participants prepare for the event while fostering a stronger sense of community togetherness for the Cybersouth community.

Continuing its community well-being mission, Avaland launched their second year nationwide health screening programme in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Malaysia earlier in the year. Building on the success of over 2,000 screenings in 2024, the 2025 programme aims to double its reach to 4,000 screenings across NKF dialysis centres and Avaland sales galleries.

The gallery health-screening initiative offers complimentary health checks for early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, kidney health analysis and private health-counselling sessions.

Apart from that, Avaland has also further deepened its partnership with NKF this year, through the donation of 10 additional advanced vital signs monitoring devices, bringing the total contribution to 20 units across NKF dialysis centres nationwide. These devices enhance patient safety by enabling real-time monitoring during dialysis sessions.

Both the Cybersouth Community Run and Avaland’s continuous health-screening partnership with NKF reflect its enduring purpose to enhance lives through purposeful design, sustainability and care for the well-being of communities.
