Sabah polls: DAP names its seven new candidates


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah DAP has unveiled its seven new candidates for the 17th Sabah Elections, with half of them being women and younger contenders.

The candidates include Sandakan MP Vivien Wong, who will stand in Elopura; Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin, who aims to secure a win in Tanjung Aru; Sabah DAP chief Phoong Jin Zhe, who will contest in Likas; Sabah DAPSY chief Chan Loong Wei, who is running for Luyang; Jannie Lasimbang, who will defend her Kapayan seat; Philip Yap, who is contesting for Sri Tanjong; and Tang Szu Ching, who is competing in Tanjung Papat.
