SERDANG: Police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of a saleswoman whose naked body was found at Blue Water Estate in Seri Kembangan last week.

He said the unemployed woman was detained by Serdang CID on Sunday (Nov 2) to assist with the investigation.

"So far, we have arrested four people. Three men aged 24 to 30 were detained on Friday (Oct 31).

"Among them are the victim’s former boyfriend and her adoptive brother," he said when contacted on Tuesday (Nov 4).

ACP Farid added that police are still tracking down several other individuals believed to be able to help with the probe.

"However, we cannot disclose further details at this stage as it may jeopardise the investigation," he said.

ACP Farid added that they have taken statements from eight witnesses so far, including the victim’s neighbours and acquaintances.
