KOTA KINABALU: Seat allocation arrangements between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Pakatan Harapan have more or less been finalised, said Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic).
“I think all has been settled, many still lobby and those who failed to be nominated have left for other parties,” said the GRS chairman after an event here on Monday (Nov 3) when asked about the seat-sharing arrangements for the coming Sabah Election.
He said even if there were to be clashes in certain seats, it shouldn’t be a huge issue.
“It’s ok to have small clashes, I guess, let them be,” Hajijj said, stressing that seats that were difficult to agree on had already been addressed.
“To be leaders and politicians, we cannot only think about being candidates, we have to have substance,” he said while advising other parties to think carefully when they receive these “unhappy” people into their fold.
He also said that the GRS - PH work relations were still on, and did not see a ‘free for all’ formula pan out at the end of the day for these two coalitions.
On other matters, Hajiji said the manifesto would be launched a day or two after Nominations Day
He said the names of these candidates would be announced a day or two before Nominations Day on Nov 15.
