IT’S a singing talent that is not easy to match.
Muhd Alif Adam Abu Bakar, 27, can sing in eight languages, Harian Metro reported.
Known also by the name Adam Matiin, his repertoire include songs in Mandarin, Italian, German, French, Thai and Korean, besides Malay and English.
Adam said he began singing in public at the age of 16.
“I started playing musical instruments when I was five. My mother was my biggest inspiration, as she used to play the saxophone and the trumpet.
“I always knew I could sing, but I never imagined I would pursue it seriously. Every time I perform, it feels like I’m taking the audience into another world,” he said.
> Singer Misha Omar, who will be holding a concert in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 29, said the show is a tribute to those who believed in her, Sinar Ahad reported.
“I want to celebrate all those who have believed in me all this while,” she said.
“I want the audience to be immersed in every song, as though they were walking with me through a time machine,” said the singer known for her hit song Bunga-Bunga Cinta.
Misha, 43, also spoke of how she was against taking shortcuts to look good on stage.
“I do not want to be overly thin that it affects my emotions. It’s better that I be myself, with the confidence that comes along with age,” she said.
