Emotion, social media, possible influence in student stabbing case, says police

SHAH ALAM: The 14-year-old male suspect could have been influenced by emotion and  social media prior to the fatal stabbing of his 16-year-old female school mate.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar said initial investigation revealed that emotion  and social media could have influenced the suspect before the attack took place

"We are still investigating further.

"So far the suspect had no prior disciplinary infringements at the school," he told reporters at the state police headquarters on Wednesday (Oct 15).
