Efforts to strengthen cooperation focus at MB, CM meeting, says PM

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday (Oct 7) chaired the 147th Meeting of Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers in Putrajaya.

In a Facebook post, Anwar said the meeting focused on efforts to strengthen cooperation between the federal and state governments, particularly in aligning policies and jointly implementing development initiatives.

"It is hoped that all decisions and plans formulated will bring direct benefits to the people, especially those in need,” said Anwar, who is also Finance Minister. — Bernama
