KAJANG: The lorry that crashed into a toll plaza here, resulting in the death of a young child, will be sent for inspection at Puspakom on Thursday (Oct 2).

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said that the Chemistry Department would also inspect the lorry on the same day.

"One of the victims who was seriously injured has been transferred to the Putrajaya Hospital, while another is still being treated at the Kajang Hospital.

"A total of seven witnesses have had their statements recorded. Action against the owner of the lorry and the employer of the lorry driver is being studied with the relevant authorities," he said.

He added that the lorry driver will be released on police bail on Wednesday (Oct 1).
