Strict action to be taken if SOPs not followed in Lenggeng pupil's death, says Fadhlina

KUALA LUMPUR: Strict action will be taken in the event of non-compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), following the death of a nine-year-old pupil who fell into a sewer pit at a school in Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan, on Saturday (Sept 27) morning.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said that her ministry has launched an investigation into the incident, stressing that there will be no compromise when it comes to the safety and well-being of all members of educational institutions.
