57th AEM: Final day packed with high-level meetings, global dialogues


KUALA LUMPUR: The last day of the 57th Asean Economic Ministers (AEM) Meeting will see several high-level consultations taking place with several countries, among them Russia, India, Canada and Switzerland on Friday (Sept 26).

The 4th AEM Troika Open-Ended Dialogue with Switzerland will be the first meeting, followed by the 14th AEM-Canada Consultation and the 22nd AEM-India Consultation.

There will also be the 14th AEM-Russia Consultation, followed by the 9th AEM-Hong Kong, China (AEM-HKC) Consultation.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof is scheduled to launch an art exhibition called Artober Art & Soul: Tour of Exhibition, which will feature over 30 local art galleries and 100 artists.

The 57th AEM Meeting will end with an exit press conference by Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, the 57th AEM and Related Meetings have attracted over 500 delegates from 10 Asean member states and key dialogue partners.
