KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s concern for the plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza may have been misinterpreted by certain parties, says the Inspector-General of Police.
Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the assistance extended by Malaysians to Palestinians was rooted in humanitarian values and religious obligations, in line with the country’s standing as an Islamic nation.
