PETALING JAYA: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, extend their heartfelt greetings for Malaysia Day today.
Their Majesties said in a social media post they also prayed that Malaysia will always be blessed with enduring peace and be safe from any calamity.
His Majesty expressed gratitude towards unity and the spirit of consensus among the citizens of different races, which continues to be Malaysia’s pillar of strength, Bernama reported.

The Sultan of Pahang, Al- Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have also extended Malaysia Day greetings to the people of Pahang and all Malaysians.
In a post on the official Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, their Royal Highnesses urged Malaysians to embrace the spirit of unity, citing the proverb “United we stand, divided we fall”.
“Let us rise together in pursuit of success for our beloved homeland, with courage and resilience. Every drop of sweat shed today is an investment in a brighter future.
“Love for our country is not mere rhetoric, but a commitment to ensure its continued independence and prosperity.
“A strong nation is built by people who are united, disciplined and tireless in their efforts,” the post read.
The royal couple also fondly recalled their Kembara Kenali Borneo journey two years ago, describing it as a meaningful experience that strengthened bonds between the monarchy and the people of Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia.
“May Malaysia continue to thrive in peace and prosperity.
“Let us foster goodwill, nurture patriotism and uphold our responsibilities as citizens, so that Malaysia continues to progress and earn global respect. Selamat Hari Malaysia,” they said.
