Bribes over four years fund couple’s jewellery shop

PETALING JAYA: A husband and wife duo with the Immigration Department have been arrested after allegedly taking bribes for years and using the funds to open a jewellery shop.

The Malaysian’s Anti-Corrup­tion Commission (MACC) said investigations showed that the couple had used the funds accumulated over four years to open the shop and also used family members including their own child as proxies.
