Bersatu Sabah poised to compete in upcoming state elections, affirms Kiandee

SHAH ALAM: Sabah Bersatu is ready for the next state election, says vice president Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee during his winding-up speech at the Bersatu eighth annual general assembly (AGM) at the Ideal Convention Centre here on Sunday (Sept 7).

"The win in the Sabah state election would begin the trail of wins for Bersatu in the Peninsula states.

"Nothing will stop us. It is not right to say that only the Sabah-based party can rule Sabah," said Kiandee, the only Bersatu representative left in Sabah.

He also noted that Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had stated that if elected, Perikatan would fully implement the Malaysian Agreement 1963.
