Simpang Pulai lay-by on NSE to close on Sept 3

– PLUS Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The Simpang Pulai Lay-by (southbound) at KM290.4 of the North-South Expressway will be closed between 12.15am and 1.30am on Sept 3, says PLUS Malaysia Berhad.

In a statement on Friday (Aug 29), it said the closure is to facilitate overhead power line maintenance work by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) along both directions between Simpang Pulai and Gopeng at KM291.5.

"The maintenance work will take place across the North-South Expressway from 12.15am to 1.30am. During this period, the Simpang Pulai Lay-by (southbound) at KM290.40 will be temporarily closed to the public," it said.

PLUS said minimal traffic disruption is expected during the works and advised motorists to plan their journeys accordingly and obey all traffic signage and instructions from PLUS personnel when passing through the affected area.

The public can obtain the latest traffic updates via the PLUS App, PUTRI Chatbot, X@plustrafik, or variable message signboards (VMS), as well as contact PLUSLine at 1-800 88 0000 for emergency assistance. – Bernama
