Decisive and effective action needed to curb bullying, says Lam Thye


KUALA LUMPUR: The time has come for the government to take decisive and effective action to curb bullying in schools, especially in residential institutions where such cases are often reported, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.

Commenting on the Education Ministry’s recent pledge to strengthen measures against bullying, including character-building training and spot checks, the chairman of the Alliance for a Safe Community stressed that any initiative must be truly effective and not just symbolic.
