PLANMalaysia DG gives MPs public briefing on URA at Parliament's media room


KUALA LUMPUR: A unique surprise awaited members of the media at Parliament as a group of MPs were briefed publicly on the Urban Renewal Act (URA) in the Parliament media room on Tuesday (Aug 26).

The public briefing saw PLANMalaysia director-general Datuk Alias Rameli (pic) both explain and answer questions from the group of MPs in full view of the media.

Among the MPs who participated in the unexpected public discussion process were Wong Shu Qi (PH-Kluang), RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong), Azli Yusof (PH-Shah Alam) and Mohd Sany Hamzah (PH-Hulu Langat).

The discussion lasted a little over 20 minutes before it was adjourned.
