KUALA LUMPUR: Wanita MCA is organising a forum this Saturday (Aug 23) to highlight how artificial intelligence can help women balance their personal and professional lives while driving empowerment and innovation.
The "AI & She: Empowering Women for a Smarter Tomorrow” forum is aimed at guiding women on how to harness artificial intelligence to support transformation across every aspect of their life from children’s education and family communication to career development.
The event, themed "Empowering Women, Enriching Futures: AI as a Path to Peace and Prosperity”, will take place from 1pm until 5pm with registration open at 12.30pm at the MCA headquarters here.
The opening ceremony will be officiated by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Among the key speakers are Chen Yanling from China, founder of AI-based psychological consulting service Scietrain; artificial intelligence practitioner and business intelligence consultant Chang Yun Yao; HRD-certified generative artificial intelligence trainer Vanne Yat; and Wen Wei from China, Eve Group co-president and an expert in artificial intelligence fashion and women’s brands.
Another speaker is Institute for Strategic Analysis and Policy Research chairperson Datuk Dr Pamela Yong, who will deliver a talk on "Shaping a Human Centred Future: Women’s Wisdom and Hope in the Age of AI."
The programme will also feature a panel discussion moderated by Wanita MCA secretary-general Chan Quin Er, followed by a networking session.
The half-day forum is jointly organised with think tank partner Institute for Strategic Analysis and Policy Research and is open to participants keen to explore the role of artificial intelligence in empowering women across different sectors.
