KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is facing a shortage of some 100,000 engineers needed for the country's development, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi says.
He said the current number of registered engineers has yet to achieve the ideal ratio of one engineer for every 100 Malaysians.
