PETALING JAYA: According to a statement on the Selangor Royal Facebook page, SIS stands for Sultan Idris Shah, the ninth Sultan of Selangor.

“In conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of Sultan Sharafuddin in December 2025 and the Silver Jubilee marking the 25th year of His Majesty’s reign in 2026, NPI with the index mark ‘SIS’ will be offered to the public.
