Budget 2026: Works Ministry seeks higher allocation to upgrade, repair nation's infrastructure

KUALA LUMPUR: The Works Ministry is seeking a higher allocation in Budget 2026 to upgrade the nation’s main infrastructure, particularly major highways and federal roads.

Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the request is a core priority in the budget, which will be tabled in October.
