Budget 2027 to be tabled in early October, says PM Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR: The government is scheduled to table Budget 2027 in Parliament in early October, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“We are drafting it now. We have just started,” the Prime Minister told reporters after the Humane Economy Global Discourse 2026 at WTC Kuala Lumpur here on Thursday (July 23).

The Budget 2026 tabled last year was Malaysia's largest-ever national spending plan at RM470bil.
