KOTA KINABALU: 13-year-old student Gwynne Mia Erbin, who went missing from school on Monday (July 27), has been found safe late Tuesday (July 28) afternoon.
“With immense gratitude and relief, we are pleased to announce that Gwen Mia has been found safe,” her family shared on social media.
They said she is currently at the police station giving her statement and that the matter was being properly handled, with everything under the control of the authorities.
“On behalf of the family, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who shared the missing person notice, provided information, reviewed dashcam footage, offered assistance, and kept Gwen Mia in your prayers,” they said.
“Your care, support, and collective efforts have shown us the warmth and compassion of our community. The tremendous response and selfless help from so many people played a vital role in bringing this matter to a positive resolution,” they added.
The family is deeply grateful for the kindness and support extended by everyone, and most importantly, thankful that Gwen Mia is now safe and well.
“Once again, our sincere thanks to the police, the school, the media, family members, friends, and everyone who assisted or expressed concern throughout this incident. Thank you all for your support and prayers,” they added.
