Tajikistan's state budget revenues exceed 3.9 billion USD in H1


DUSHANBE, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Tajikistan's state budget revenues totaled 36.4 billion somoni (about 3.94 billion U.S. dollars) in the first six months of 2026, Tajik Finance Minister Fayziddin Kahorzoda said Thursday.

At a press conference in Dushanbe, Kahorzoda said the state budget revenue plan from all sources was fulfilled by more than 114 percent during the period.

The minister noted that in the period, the Ministry of Finance focused on implementing state financial policy, ensuring the sustainability of the budget system, and financing social obligations in a timely manner.

Kahorzoda added that in the first half of the year, more than 30.3 billion somoni was allocated to finance the economic and social sectors. Of this amount, 13.7 billion somoni, or 45 percent of the total state budget expenditure, was allocated to the social sector.
