JOHOR BARU: Vehicle owners in the city can enjoy up to 80% discount on traffic and parking compounds in conjunction with the 68th National Day celebration, Johor Baru City Council (MBJB) announces.
In a statement on Friday (Aug 1), the council said the special promotion will run for two weeks from Aug 15 to Aug 31, offering residents a chance to settle outstanding compounds at a significantly reduced rate.
“The 80% discount applies to compounds issued from 2016 up to December 2024.
“Meanwhile, compounds issued in 2025 still qualify for a 60% reduction under MBJB’s standard rate,” it said.
The council said payments can be made through multiple channels, including the MBJBSpot app, MBJB service counters, MBJB payment kiosks, e-Khidmat app and the PBTPay portal.
“Vehicle owners are encouraged to check for any outstanding summonses and take advantage of this limited-time offer,” the statement added.
