Pahang Sultan, Tengku Ampuan extend condolences on Jerantut OCPD's passing


KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have extended their condolences to the family of Jerantut OCPD Supt Zukri Muhammad, who died on Saturday (July 26).

The Royal couple prayed for Allah's mercy upon Zukri's soul and that he be placed among the righteous.

"The Royal Highnesses also expressed hope that the bereaved family will remain strong and accepting in facing this loss," read a post on the official Facebook page of the Pahang Royal Household.

Supt Zukri, 59, was reported to have died of a heart attack at his residence in Taman Saujana Utama, Jerantut, at about 3pm.

Meanwhile, Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail also extended his condolences to Zukri's family and to the Royal Malaysia Police, particularly the Pahang contingent and the Jerantut district police headquarters. - Bernama
