Harimau Malaya move up to 125th in FIFA world rankings

PETALING JAYA: Harimau Malaya have leaped six places in the latest FIFA world rankings, moving from 131st to 125th.

The ranking update, released Thursday (July 10), reflects the team's steady progress and improved performance on the international stage.

The rise comes after Malaysia thrashed Vietnam 4-0 in the 2027 Asian Cup third-round qualifiers in June.

This marks one of the country's most notable movements in the FIFA rankings in recent years, signalling positive momentum ahead of future tournaments and qualifiers.
