CCTV footage shows kick from cow led to man's fatal fall


HULU SELANGOR: CCTV footage from a farm in Kerling here shows that a kick from a cow led to the fatal fall of a farm supervisor.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ibrahim Husin said in a statement on Monday (July 7) that the footage shows the cow moving suddenly towards the victim.

"(He was then) kicked by the cow, causing him to fall from a certain height," he said.

It was reported earlier that a farm worker found the severely injured man in a river at 7.55am on Saturday (July 5).

"He had a visible wound on his forehead.

"He was then rushed to Hospital Kuala Kubu Baru for treatment but succumbed to his injury," Supt Ibrahim said when contacted on Sunday (July 6).

The 53-year-old victim was a supervisor at a Sungai Gali farm.

An autopsy found that the cause of death was severe traumatic brain injury due to a fall from height.
