Man dies of head trauma after being kicked by cow

HULU SELANGOR: A 53-year-old man died after he was believed to have been kicked in the head by a cow.

The incident occurred near an oil palm plantation at Ladang Batu 2 Kerling.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ibrahim Husin said a plantation worker found the victim unconscious at about 7.55am on Saturday.

"He had a visible wound on his forehead.

"He was then rushed to Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital for treatment but he succumbed to his injury," he said when contacted on Sunday (July 6).

Supt Ibrahim said a post-mortem on the victim revealed that the cause of death was traumatic brain injury.

"Investigations revealed that the victim was kicked by a cow, causing him to fall from a certain height," he added.
