Kelana Jaya LRT line disrupted after trespasser injured on track


PETALING JAYA: Train services along the Kelana Jaya LRT line were temporarily disrupted on Friday morning (July 4) after a passenger trespassed onto the tracks at Subang Alam station.

In a statement, Rapid Rail said the incident occurred at 8.02am, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Rescue Department and the police.

“The individual was rescued but sustained serious injuries. He was sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for further medical treatment,” the operator said.

Train services resumed at 10.22am.

Rapid Rail has pledged full cooperation with police investigations into the incident.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate the patience and cooperation of our passengers,” it added.
