Anwar hopes Maal Hijrah 1447H will usher in blessed, meaningful life

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hopes the Maal Hijrah 1447H/2025M celebration will mark the beginning of a more meaningful and blessed chapter in life.

The Prime Minister said the new Hijrah year carries a call to build a prosperous, inclusive and virtuous Madani society rooted in Islamic values.

"Hijrah is not merely a physical migration, but a process of renewal. Let us continue to move forward with knowledge, integrity and a spirit of unity," he said in a Facebook post Thursday (June 26).

The Prime Minister also invited Muslims to reflect on verse 218 of surah al-Baqarah. - Bernama
