PUTRAJAYA: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman arrived at the Palace of Justice on Wednesday (June 25), where a verdict on his appeal regarding multiple corruption charges is expected.
Media personnel were present as early as 7.30am to capture his arrival at the Court of Appeal.
The atmosphere at the Palace of Justice is tense, with family, friends, Muda party members, and supporters gathered in support of Syed Saddiq.
Among those present were Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir and actor Bella Astillah.
Upon arrival, Syed Saddiq was seen talking to Mukhriz and his Muda party members.
Syed Saddiq also hugged his mother who was tearing up but held it in.
The former Youth and Sports Minister will learn today whether his conviction and sentence will be upheld.
