Floods: Trapped senior citizen rescued in Bukit Kemuning


PETALING JAYA: Flash floods early Friday (June 20) morning left a senior citizen here trapped in a house after water levels rose.

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said the department was alerted to the incident in Bukit Kemuning at 8.29am.

"The victim was then brought out with help from members of the public to a safe location," he said, adding that the water level was at a height of about 1m at the time.
